Gabriela Appel

About

Gabriela Appel (Ph.D., Delaware) is Senior Lecturer in Applied Linguistics and German in the Department of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies at the Pennsylvania State University. She is also the Program Coordinator of the Center for Advanced Language Proficiency Education and Research (CALPER), a Title VI National Language Resource Center, at Penn State. Her areas of interest are "Language Learning and Teaching", specifically in L2 Reading, L2 Vocabulary and Assessment, and in "Project-based Learning and FL Education".
